I have had some lovely watery walks over Christmas and I have been so aware of how different water can be, still puddles, flooded farmland, soaking rain and turbulent rivers. The Water element brings us power and strength through its momentum and movement and with this momentum comes the opportunity for transformational change.
I have also been thinking about the New Year and changes I want to ma
ke and particularly how to change what I focus on. Emotions, feelings and the brain are all associated with the Water element and I believe the thoughts we focus on, and give momentum to, become our beliefs and eventually manifest everyday in our lives.
So as we stand on the brink of 2016 and spend time pondering how we want our lives to be next year it is worth remembering to harness the power of the season in a positive way. Firstly focus on the positives you already have, the parts of your live you want to grow and prosper, secondly connect with the feeling of this in your body, finally bring momentum to this feeling and let it fill your whole body, the more we repeat this the more powerful it becomes. I build the momentum by journalling, describing how I would feel if my life was already as I wanted. If this is a daily practise you can become as powerful a creator as a fast flowing river, carving the landscape of your life. Have a wonderful day and wishing you a creative and powerful 2016, lots of love Carol xx
