Good morning journeyers. This morning's post is inspired by my 12 year old autistic lad. He was struggling to get into school (not uncommon) so we took his therapy dog out into the fields for a stomp. It was cold and icy. As we were walking we noticed the valleys were full of mist. In our house this is known as 'Dragon's breath'. My lovely lad piped up "Mum, I love it when the Dragon's breath comes, it reminds me that magic exists, and that helps me to know that everything really is going to be OK ". I smiled deeply inside. He did go on to get into school and have a good day. One of the gifts of winter is we can see further in the landscape, we can sink into ourselves when we become stiller and hibernate a little. For my lad, he knows deep inside him that magic exists, and that everything really will be OK. For him nature mirrors this to him regularly. So today notice what helps you remember magic exists, that everything will be OK. Enjoy the noticing, Sarah-Jayne
