Earth Element Meridians part two.
The Spleen meridian runs on both sides of the body, starting at the outside of the big toe, up the inside leg, over the torso to the arm ‘crease’ and down the side of the body ending at the 9th rib. This meridian is all about distributing resources to where they are needed and eliminating toxicity. In TCM pancreas function is seen as part of this meridian function so balancing sweetness is a significant aspect. It’s peak time is 9am-11am. , the time when we are often digesting our breakfast and our ‘to do’ list and breaking these down into manageable parts.
