Feel your Body...

Morning lovely journeyers, I've had a really heavy cold this week (A.K.A. equinox seasonal cleanse :/ ) and my body has felt stiff and achey and I have lost my usual robust feeling that I pretty much take for granted. The positive side to this is it makes me appreciate my lovely body especially in this season of the Earth element.
The Earth element is associated with the flesh of the body and our muscles. A healthy, balanced Earth element will give us toned flesh and strong muscles that help us enjoy our grounded physicality.
If however, we have excess dampness (which also can be called acidity) in our bodies this will lead to fatigue, aches and pains as well as foggy headedness and sluggishness. This dampness in the body can be likened to a heavy, cloddy, clay soil; hard work to walk through and if very waterlogged will have low fertility and oxygen content.
So today spend a moment appreciating your wonderful body whatever it's shape or size, as the wonderful vessel it is, carrying our soul through this very physical and earthly life.
Have a wonderful earthy day
with love Carol xx
